Our Name

The name Melobil is built from three elements: “mel,” “o,” and “bil.”

-“Mel” comes from the Greek word μέλι (méli), meaning honey. It carries forward the connection with the broader Melolem ecosystem and draws inspiration from the honeycomb, a structure built from individual cells that come together to create unity, strength, and purpose.

-“Bil” is inspired by mobility, movement, and urban transportation, reflecting our focus on creating practical solutions that keep people and businesses moving.

-At the center, “O” represents the connection between the two, a symbol of continuity, unity, and wholeness. Like the cells of a honeycomb coming together as one structure, it represents the idea that individual parts become stronger when they are connected and working together.

Together, Melobil represents purposeful mobility through collective strength, bringing people, technology, vehicles, and businesses together into one connected ecosystem.

Our Logo

Our logo is inspired by the hexagon, the foundational shape of the honeycomb, connecting directly to μέλι (méli), the Greek word for honey and the origin of “Mel” in Melobil.

The hexagon also contains internal threads, resembling a mechanical nut. This introduces a second layer of meaning, reflecting engineering, precision, connection, and the assembly of individual components into a functional whole.

• Internally, each part of Melobil — from our hardware and software to our fleet and operations — is represented as a hexagon, a key component of a larger honeycomb structure that forms our connected mobility ecosystem.
